Mariah received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her Master's in Counseling Psychology From Avila University.

Mariah provides individuals, couples and family counseling to people of all ages and backgrounds. She works with anxiety, depression, grief and emotion regulation, among other issues. Mariah’s approach is rooted in person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, while pulling from multiple treatment modalities to best meet the needs of the client. She has received training in play therapy as well as solutions-focused brief therapy. Mariah prioritizes realistic solutions for her clients that integrate mindfulness practices and cognitive processes. 

She brings with her experience working with LGBTQ+ people and those who are struggling with their loved one’s identity. Mariah enjoys participating in advocacy work and meeting people where they are at. 

Being born and raised in Kansas City, MO, Mariah loves cheering for the Chiefs and visiting all the best local spots. When not seeing clients, she can be found rock climbing, trying new restaurants, or playing board games with friends. 

Mariah is a provisionally licensed professional counselor under the clinical supervision of Marc Dipoto, LPC.
